WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is an alternative healing technique, using spiritually guided life force energy to bring the body into a natural balance.  The healing energy is transferred from the Reiki Master to the receiver through the palms of the practitioner.  This activates the natural healing process of the body. 

HOW CAN REIKI IMPROVE WELL-BEING?

Reiki brings deep relaxation while promoting the body’s natural ability to heal itself.  After a reiki session, your body will feel energized and balanced.  Reiki strengthens the immune system, relieves stress, anxiety, promotes pain relief, eases muscle tension, increases the rate of recovery from injury and provides peace of mind restoring physical and emotional well-being.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A REIKI SESSION

Clients lie down and listen to calming music wrapped in a cozy blanket.  As the Reiki Practitioner begins the session, she will slowly hover their hands over the body and touch down in needed areas they are drawn to by changes in temperature or energy levels. 

The client may feel temperature changes or twitches in muscles, pins and needle sensations in treatment areas or just complete relaxation.  A sense of peace and or calm will fall over a client when the mind and physical body relax as chakras become unblocked.  Falling asleep during the session is quite common and the body will still receive the full benefit from the healing session regardless if they are awake or sleeping.
