What is EFT or Tapping and how does it work?

Emotional Freedom Technique commonly referred to as EFT or Tapping is an alternative healing modality that uses the principals of acupressure to target specific points (meridians) on the body while focusing on a particular issue, trauma or emotion. Designed to gently coach a client thought the healing process, EFT is considered a safe, holistic modality that beautifully compliments existing medical treatments.  There are no know adverse effects from EFT Therapy sessions, however potential clients are encouraged to only work with a certified practitioner and consult with their medical team prior to beginning treatment.

What to Expect

  • Clients select a specific problem or issue they wish to resolve
  • The intensity of the emotion related to the problem or the issue will be measured on a scale of 0-10.  Progress if frequently tracked through the session
  • Using guided verbal messages the EFT practitioner walks the client through a sequence of tapping points that align with the meridians of the body, to release negative emotion.
  • Clients must be open and willing to release their trauma, issue, fear etc. for the experience to be successful and for personal growth to be realized.
